Campus Emporium is proud to have been your One Stop Hokie Shop both in Blacksburg and online for over 15 years. Through your support and our crazy gung-ho attitude, we’ve decided to expand. Some space came up for lease and we gobbled it up, so to speak.

You may remember this as an old CVS Pharmacy.

This is our sign. It needs a bit of pressure worshing, but it’s our first official light-up sign. I’m so dang proud.

This is the entrance. There will be a huge VT rug here, as well as our tailgate section.

These are the register counters. Don’t worry- we’ll still be using our Sparkomatic 1.0 registers. Hey- we’re pretty fast on those puppies. Who needs a scanner?

This is a view from the “Gobbler’s Nest” (CVS’s weird manager tree house in the front of the store). You can see the polished cement floor and the basic layout. You can also see two of our rad TV’s. We’re going to have to figure out a way to have a Wii tournament or something.

This is the view from the back, about a week ago. We’ve done a lot since then, but from here you can see our ginormous front windows.

We hope to open the store Friday, October 8. We’ll keep you posted on our Facebook page.

UPDATE: The new store opened the afternoon of October 7, and its first sale was at 4:13PM. Come on by!
